Pateti 2000 Function

The Singapore Parsi Association celebrated the Pateti & Navroze function on the 21st August 2000 at the Le Meridien Hotel. The chief guest was Miss Anita Nair, the Deputy High Commissioner of India.

It was an enjoyable night of frolic and fun with a sumptuous buffet spread of salads, cold cuts, tandoori murgi, curries and mouth watering desserts along with liquor and wine.

The new members were introduced and inducted by the President of the Singapore Parsi Association, Mr. Russi Ghadiali. Raffle prizes donated by some of the members were given away by the Deputy High Commissioner of India. "Line Dance" performed by a group of young girls was the highlight of the evening. In all 90 Parsis and guests attended the function.
